Centrum Jogi Jogaart
At unconf 2017 we ran a three hour workshop aimed at managers and leaders to introduce them to mindfulness techniques, using a mixture of yoga and mindfulness of breath. It was a very popular event, and we weren't able to accommodate everyone who wanted to take part (we clearly need to run more of these!). There was a good mix of participants, from scrum masters and managers to testers. One common theme we heard was of how much stress there is in the workplace. It's now quite well demonstrated in studies that mindfulness helps reduce stress and we we were delighted to introduce a set of yoga asanas and meditations of breath that we hope will help participants in the future.
